A New Hope

Star Wars a New Hope is a movie about Luke Sky walker and his epic journey through a huge galaxy. I thought Luke was the most interesting character of this movie. It seemed like the point of the movie was to introduce us to Luke and the dilemmas he faced. One of those dilemmas is that he is on one of the most remote planets in the galaxy and has no idea of who his real family even is. However, all of these questions are quickly answered once Luke stumbles across R2 D2 and C3PO who are droids being hunted by the empire. Because of these droids Luke ends up running into another important character known as Obi Wan, also known as Ben. Ben explains to Luke who he really is and that his father was once a great Jedi knight. This throws Luke into an epic adventure involving joining up with the rebellion. I really liked how this film hit on the whole self discovery aspect of life. Luke definitely changes a lot and you can really see him start to mature and develop more into a man the more the movie goes on. In the end, Luke still has a ways to go before he becomes a Jedi master but it is still a great story in its own as we are able to see Luke go from an isolated farm boy to the hero of the rebel alliance.
