Star Wars

I have never watched any of the Star Wars movies until this class. I have never been a person to get into the movies. But two of the things I thought I got out of the movie was making choices and the path we choose for yourself. I choose these two things to talk about because making choices is a big thing in life. If you cannot making choices then you are kind of not going to really get or do anything. Choices are a big deal. The last one is the path we choose for yourself. There are many paths that you can choose you just have to know the right one for yourself. I had to choose what path I wanted to do when I got out of high school and I had to think if it was the right one for me and I believe I chose the right one.

  1. I am the same way , I never watched any of the movies until this blog post. It was better than I thought it would be. I felt left out when I was a little younger and all my friends were talking about star wars. I cant agree more , if you cant make choices then life is going to be hard and nothing is going to get done. On the other hand if you are good at making choices than life would be easier. See even though I am sure choosing to go to college may have been hard for you , you were able to make a decision. I think you did a good job on this post.

  2. I agree with you and Matt. These movies do revolve around pathways and the choices that are made in order to continue on the path that you choose. I also find that this is a very important part of life and it can be easy or very difficult. But its based on those decisions that set you up to succeed or fail in your life. Choices for college or to just go to work can define a person and since we are all in this class I think I know what we chose. You did a good job writing your post and it was an easy read. Good job.

  3. Like you all, I have never watched the movies until this course. I am the type of person that avoids movies that are the center of a lot of hype. I guess you can call me weird. By watching this, I did find that it wasn't a complete flop. I enjoyed certain aspects of it, however I still feel some sort of distaste towards it. Overall, I do agree with how important it is to be able to make choices. After all, that is what this entire life is about. You have to choose to be who you are, it doesn't just come naturally. I really enjoyed how much you showcased the importance of having and exercising choices. I feel that it's something that people don't even think about anymore, they just ride by the seat of their pants and go wherever the wind blows them. Great job!

  4. I am another who hasn't seen the Star Wars movie before this class. Some clips seem familiar, but it's probably just because of the popularity this movie has. I always wonder about the path I've chosen, and if it was the right one so far. It's a question I'll never know the answer to. This movie's main point is to stress the importance of making the proper choices. All choices are not easy, but we are all here trying to do the best we can to make the right ones. Thanks for your perspective, Heather.
