Unconventional world

The Star Wars series in general is not one of my favorite series.  I love the characters from Obi wan Kenobi to R2-D2 and the story line.  However, the fact that the movies are all screwed up because movies that came out later showed a pre story to existing movies;  It just made everything confusing.
But getting to this specific movie, Star Wars: A New Hope.  I liked this movie overall and the part that caught my attention the most was the role of Luke Skywalker and the mystery created in where he came from and who his father was.  At the beginning when Luke found out R2-D2 wanted to get to Obi Wan Kenobi he immediately referred to a crazy old Ben Kenobi. His Uncle said Obi Wan Kenobi used to know Luke's father but was probably dead now and refused to go into any more detail.  Later Obi Wan Kenobi becomes Luke's mentor and helps him learn the ways of the Jedi.  I think the connection forms so fast between the two because of the previous relationship Obi Wan had with Luke's father.  Luke learned so much from him in the short amount of time he had to train.  Princess Leia also plays an interesting role in the movie.  Both Luke and Leia believe in the rebellion but Leia played the most active role in it and Luke wouldn't have even had the chance to have the connection to his old life had Leia not sent the message with R2-D2 for Obi Wan Kenobi.  Luke's life is all up to chance and things are starting to fall into a place where he might actually learn about his past and what he comes from.
It has been a long time since I've seen this Star Wars movie and knowing the other movies previously I definitely picked up on Luke's story because I knew the connections from the later movies.
