New boundaries

After watching the movie Star Wars: New Hope, I found it to be an interesting movie. I have never seen a star wars movie prior to this. I think that this is more or less due to the fact that I personally don’t really go for the syfi type movies. It makes me want to watch the rest of these movies to see how the rest of it goes. Which I believe I will end up now doing after watching this one. The thing that I found to be very interesting about this movie is the many different types of characters in it. The movie starts out on a ship and it shows R2D2 and C3P0, which are two robots in the movie. Then there are Jawas, humans, and creature like things. There are many different characters and it surprises me that a film this long ago had this much thought into the types of characters. I think that it is awesome to see the amount of development that went into the varieties. Because they aren’t just characters that are in the backdrop of the scene they are all throughout the movies and they actually have specific rules in the movie. I think that the most interesting characters to me is the R2D2 and CP30 solely in the way that they are able to communicate with one another. It is quite frustrating from my aspect to not be able to understand what he is saying and only knowing that C3P0 knows what is happening.

  1. I strongly encourage you to watch the rest of the Star Wars movies. This movie only touched on the world of Star Wars and although these characters are very intriguing the other movies offer even more. Plus finishing the story line will help fill in some of the gaps that may have been confusing to you in this movie since you are new to Star Wars. As for C3PO and R2-D2 I sometimes think it would be nice to have subtitles for what he's saying but because he needs a translator to be understood it truly shows that specific C3PO and R2's relationship.
