After all, who really am I?

As a high school student I've never really noticed how much we as a society have changed how we view the world as a whole. But as I've now moved on to college I'm solely just focusing on myself and trying to make the best for my future, I've developed the ability to notice how sad our society really is and to be able to see what some people will do to just get a laugh or be able to just fit in somewhere. After reading the book Quiet I was able to see and understand more of what we are doing with our lives. During High School I was an introverted person. I was on the baseball team but I also only had a small group of friends that I truly liked to be around and was able to hold conversations with. Being an introvert allowed me to be able to focus more time on my studies and to try and prepare me for the college life ahead. This also allowed me to be able to prepare myself for college by having the ability to cope with my problems on my own and not rely on my parents. As I transitioned to college I was still an introvert but I quickly began to evolve into a more extroverted personality by becoming very involved on campus while also putting myself out there. This was a hard transition for me because it was harder for me to try to find time for studying while also balancing my flourishing social life. After all, I believe that being an extrovert has allowed me to put myself out there and has given me the courage to adjust to various types of situations.
