Just good old me
Growing up I had two very different parents which I believe affected me greatly as I progressed throughout life. My mom was and always has been an extrovert while my dad has been one of the biggest introverts I have ever known. Because of this and the readings I think I am more of the in between or ambivert. Growing up I always wondered to myself about what the purpose of everything was in life and just overall what I was suppose to do with my life. I always have been talented at things, but due to my shyness and being more of a quiet man I seem to be overlooked by the general public. This was because I was more of an introvert when I was younger. I soon though realized that the public seemed to be more favorable of extrovert people. I soon then began changing my personality along with just growing into my new self as I faced new challenges in life. I would my freshman year in school I was the most extroverted I have ever been. I soon then though realized that I was trying too hard to be more sociable and it was honestly just becoming too much and began to drain me. Now I would say I finally found that happy medium. I eventually found myself more of a quieter to myself guy, but I don't have a problem with going out and talking to others as well. I also am able to take charge of situations while still not over doing it or stepping out of my comfort zone. Overall I think there is nothing wrong with any of the different types of personalities. I do feel like the public does tend to still favor extroverts and in a way teach people that introverts are not good but I feel like a person has to be who they truly are to be successful in life, which is something I have personally discovered and began using in my own life.

This blog post was by far my favorite out of all of them, because it is actually very similar to mine. My mother growing up was and still is extremely extroverted; where as, my father was rather introverted. I can especially relate to changing your personality! I did the exact same thing when i moved to high school. I like to keep to myself and do my own thing, but I also love to hang out and spend time with my family and friends. I especially agree with the fact that society favors extroverts over introverts, overall I both related this post the most, and I also enjoyed this one the most as well.
