From Rags to Riches.

A great person can make the best out of any situation. The characters in Harry Potter do exactly that. The main character Harry Potter grows from living with the Dursleys, thinking that there is no way out, to finding out he is a famous wizard. Talk about a world wind of change. The Dursley always drilled into little Harry’s mind that they are completely ordinary and there was no such thing as magic. After Harry receives a visit from Hagrid, he finally believes that his worth is more than the Dursley ever let him believe. Harry was in a horrible situation by his home life where he was bullied by not only his cousin, but by his aunt and uncle as well. He was made to wear Dudley’s old clothes that never fit. The sad part was that the bullying never seemed to end; even at school Dudley and his friends would hunt for Harry. Then things changed when he found out who he really was a wizard and he grew from the ruins of self-doubt and despair he becomes one of the greatest wizards that ever went to Hogwarts. Harry was then rich with knowledge of family, truth, and self-esteem. Harry also had friends, real friends who would do anything for him. He finally felt as though he belonged somewhere and he had a family who cares. Although Harry was now also rich in the literal sense of money or gold; I think that the most important wealth is that of love that now Harry finally feels.
