J.K Rowling got her fame and success from her amazingly well written Harry Potter Series. The first book Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is where the adventure began. In this book, Rowling introduces various strong characters, most notably, the title character, Harry Potter. Harry is joined by his two best friends, the joking and relatable Ron Weasley and the highly intelligent and resourceful Hermione Granger.
Continually hidden beneath Potter's shadow, Hermione is the brilliant savior of the group. Harry is the hero famously known as "the boy who lived" for surviving an attack from You Know Who; however, Hermione is the  creative mind pulling Ron and Harry through the book. She is the reason they are able to obtain the stone.

  1. I like your intro paragraph a lot! I think it has a great attention grabber that really starts your essay off on a good note. I think for your thesis statement you should go back to the prompt from the class because I don't think your thesis properly covers one character and a specific characteristic from that character nor did you allude to how you are going to prove that Hermoine is the reason that they are able to obtain the stone. I think you're definitely on the right track you just need to refine your thesis statement!

  2. I really have to agree with you about Hermione having a creative mind. Growing up with the Harry Potter series, I always wanted to be like Hermione. She’s incredibly intelligent, and although she seems to step on a lot of people’s toes, she utilizes her intelligence incredibly well. I think that she uses her smarts to help Harry Potter a lot in all seven books. However, she does also get the three characters (Ron, Harry and herself) into some sticky situations. She thinks quickly on her feet and quickly gets them out of these situations, which is and great talent to possess.
