Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

I found the book Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone to be the most intriguing so far. I have read the book before but I still enjoyed it. It is easy to follow along with and is also something that can peak your creativity and imagination. I also like how there is a movie for it as well. Whenever I am reading I like to watch the movie for it as well (if there is one) to compare. For example do the characters in the movie resemble the ones I created in my mind while reading the book? Does the movie storyline follow the books? Or did they change something completely for the movie that wasn't in the book? For this book it intrigued me because I like Harry's storyline in general on friendship, new experiences, and how the love of his parents ultimately saved his life from Voldemort leaving him with only a scar. It has all sorts of ups and downs, twists and turns, and it kept me interested throughout the book. I also like how close Harry, Ronald, and Hermione, become. They kind of become like the three musketeers so to speak. The adventures they experience throughout the book make it a page turner and hard to put down (easier to put down after you have read it multiple times). But, it is a classic and most students have read this book at some point in their life. If you haven't already I suggest watching the movie as well and looking at any similarities or differences between the movie and the book.
